Various events were held on the premises of our Amrita Vidyalayam in connection with Gandhi Jayanthi. Sri Aneesh, District Seed Coordinator, presented a few cloth bags to Sri Sankarankutty Payyanoor to raise awareness about the dangers of plastic pollution. Students came up with a Hygiene Event and cleared all the waste around the school. All the teachers and students took part in this cleaning event. Sri Sudheesh Karingari, Coordinator for Bio-diversity, delivered a speech about “Mahatma Gandhi” and made students aware of the importance of a clean environment.
